5/1/14 Cross Industrial Partners With MilAero Solutions

March 28, 2015

Clearwater, FL—Cross Industrial Florida LLC, a global distributor of electronic components to the security and defense markets, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with MilAero Solutions (MAS). MAS specializes in maintenance and repair parts for the military and commercial aviation markets. Under the terms of the agreement, Cross will be acting as a sales and distribution unit for MAS while that company also applies Cross products to its projects.

A registered US Department of Defense contractor, Bohemia, New York based MAS distributes parts and assemblies as well as high reliability passive and active electronic components for military and aerospace applications. The company offers over 140,000 lines of mil-spec qualified and aerospace components, with same day delivery. It is also ISO9001 and AS9120A registered.

In particular, MAS specializes in obsolete and rare components. This is a good fit for Cross Industrial, which made a name for itself by seeking out hard to find resources to supply a range of customers from small design teams working on R&D and prototype components to large manufacturers dealing with quantity production. “Having a close relationship with MAS will enable our sales team to find solutions for customers whenever they call,” said Don Carroll, president of Cross Industrial. “Their focus on unusual parts complements the expertise of our sales force, which finds the best solution for a customer’s project, whether it’s off the shelf stock or a specialized part that will bring them an edge over the competition.”

MAS is also a stocking franchise distributor for EDC Corp., which holds a parts manufacturing authorization (PMA) through the US FAA. EDC manufactures aircraft replacement parts that meet or exceed quality standards for original manufacturers.

“The agreement with MAS turns us into a onestopshop for military and aviation customers,” said Carroll. “By concurrently relocating MAS to a new facility that abuts Islip MacArthur Airport, we are able to assist with AOG and routine ground support, and possess the capability to accomplish immediate air shipment of stock products.”
