About Pixelteq

PIXELTEQ micro-patterned optical coatings combine patented microlithography expertise with state-of-the-art coating technology. The company’s micro-patterned filters help create compact and cost-effective optical devices for biomedical, security and defense, aerospace, precision agriculture, and machine vision applications.

PIXELTEQ’s technology enables the patterning of multiple dielectric, metal, and color gel filter array coatings on a single substrate. Standardized processes are in place for patterning on glass and semiconductor wafers, which optimize PIXELTEQ’s processes to customer requirements and reduce time-to-market. The company’s capabilities can meet needs from high accuracy, low volume devices to high volume consumer-type products.

“Our proprietary thin film coating processes were perfected over decades of experience,” said PIXELTEQ VP Marketing and Sales, Marco Snikkers. “To the best of our knowledge, we are the only photonics company focusing solely on micro-patterning technology.”

Since completing a multi-million dollar expansion and upgrade to its manufacturing facilities last year, PIXELTEQ has doubled its output of micro-patterned optical filters.

Salvo Technologies acquired Pixelteq in 2020.

About Optical Filter Shop

The Optical Filter Shop was created to specialize in precision optical filters for sensing and imaging products as an e-commerce spin-off from PIXELTEQ. With decades of thin film engineering experience and advanced Magnetron Sputtering (MSP) and Ion-Assist Deposition (IAD) optical coating platforms, the Optical Filter Shop provides solutions from standard filter samples to scalable wafer-level OEM production, all while meeting performance, throughput, and cost requirements.

Covering UV, VIS, NIR, and SWIR wavelengths, we offer bandpass, color, edge, and specialty filters such as AR windows and 45-degree, neutral density, and linear variable filters. With hundreds of different filters, customers can select their filter type, shape, and dimensions on-demand; the Optical Filter Shop makes customization easy. Also available are optical flats, collimation testers, reflectance standards, and multispectral sensing and imaging devices. Shop the online store to see how the Optical Filter Shop can partner to meet your optical challenges.
