Seminole, FL—Salvo Technologies LLC, a leading technology ­based private equity group, today announced the addition of Rick Erwin to its corporate advisory board. Mr. Erwin is the vice president of operations at Atkore International, Allied Division, which specializes in industrial steel pipe, tube, and conduit. He brings 37 years of executive management experience to the Salvo Technologies board with a focus on the type of high­tech manufacturing that is the target of Salvo’s strategic plan. His addition will help the company achieve its vision of becoming a top tier supplier in the markets it serves. Mr. Erwin has a deep understanding of how to serve industrial and consumer markets, with a particular focus on managing manufacturing organizations and ensuring quality and performance. Past positions include vice president of global engineering, customer satisfaction and program management at Delphi, as well as vice president, Asia Pacific for the company’s electronics and safety division. He has also held multiple executive management positions at Delphi with the electronics and safety division, including as general director of worldwide operations, general director of Mexico operations, and managing director of the General Motors power control systems operations. “Rick understands what’s involved in delivering on customer expectations to keep them coming back again and again,” said Patrick Bass, executive vice president of Salvo Technologies. “His experience will help us increase manufacturing efficiencies and quality along with our market presence, allowing us to capture new customers by serving new applications.”
