March 26, 2015

Seminole, FL—Salvo Technologies LLC, a leading technology based private equity company, has designated MilAero Solutions Inc. (MAS) as a master distributor for the Salvo Technologies portfolio of products and technology. Salvo Technologies encompasses four business units that deliver a range of hightech products and services, including design, fabrication, and assembly of optics, electrooptics, and systems; electronic; thin and thick film coatings; and personal protective equipment. MAS is a well-established supplier of maintenance and repair parts for the military and commercial aviation markets. Under the terms of the agreement, MAS will sell products from across the Salvo Technologies business units.

A registered US Department of Defense contractor, Bohemia, New Yorkbased MAS distributes parts and assemblies as well as high reliability passive and active electronic components for military and aerospace applications. The company offers over 140,000 lines of mil-spec qualified and aerospace components, with sameday delivery. It is also ISO9001 and AS9120A registered.

“MAS has longstanding relationships with major players in the aerospace, defense, and commercial aviation space,” said Patrick Bass, vice president at Salvo Technologies. “Partnering with them provides us with an opportunity to reach new customers in this dynamic marketplace.”  MAS is also a stocking franchise distributor for EDC Corp., which holds a parts manufacturing authorization (PMA) through the US FAA. EDC manufactures aircraft replacement parts that meet or exceed quality standards for original manufacturers.

“The agreement with MAS turns us into a onestopshop for military and aviation customers,” said Don Carroll president of Cross Industrial Florida LLC, which has a strategic alliance with Salvo Technologies. “By concurrently relocating MAS to a new facility that abuts Islip MacArthur Airport, we are able to assist with AOG and routine ground support, and possess the capability to accomplish immediate air shipment of stock products.”
