Raptor SWIR OWL-1280

Using a cooled 1280 × 1024 InGaAs sensor from SCD, the Owl 1280 offers a visible response from 0.6µm to 1.7µm, enabling high-sensitivity imaging. The 10µm x 10µm pixel pitch enables the highest-resolution imaging. The Owl 1280 has a readout noise (RMS) specification of <28 electrons and offers a high intra-scene dynamic range of 51dB, enabling simultaneous capture of bright & dark portions of a scene.

Raptor SWIR Owl 640 II

Using a 640 × 512 InGaAs sensor from SCD, the Owl 640 enables high-sensitivity imaging from 0.6µm to 1.7µm. The 15µm x 15µm pixel pitch enables the highest resolution VIS-SWIR image, and with less than 50 electrons readout noise, the Owl 640 allows the highest SWIR detection limit.

Raptor SWIR Owl 640 N

Using next-generation technology, Raptor has launched one of the lowest-noise VIS-SWIR cameras on the market, perfect for imaging in low-light conditions. Using a 640 × 512 InGaAs sensor, and the sensor stabilized to 15°C, the Owl 640 N offers a visible response from 0.6µm to 1.7µm, enabling high sensitivity. The camera also provides the lowest readout noise on the market, with a typical value of 18 electrons. The camera has a high intra-scene dynamic range of typically 73dB, enabling simultaneous capture of bright and dark portions of a scene.

Raptor SWIR Owl 640 T

The Owl 640 T is the latest variant of the Owl 640 family, being the world’s first SWaP optimized ½” / VGA InGaAs sensor with a 10µm x 10µm pixel pitch. The Owl 640 T offers a spectral response from 0.6µm to 1.7µm and has less than 50 electrons readout noise, with a high intra-scene dynamic range of 69dB that enables simultaneous capture of bright and dark portions of a scene.

Available with a 12-bit Camera Link output, the Owl 640 T runs from 10 to 60Hz. The camera features an onboard Automated Gain Control (AGC) which enables the best contrast imaging from a dark to bright imaging scene, as well as an onboard intelligent 3-point Non-Uniform Correction (NUC), providing the highest quality images. The Owl 640 T offers a ½” optical design, taking advantage of a smaller, lighter lens. The camera is the ideal solution for the Mini UAV and Gimbal market and hand-held integrated systems. The Owl 640 T is ultra-compact and rugged, as with all Raptor cameras. The camera uses a Thermometric cooler to stabilize the sensor temperature with no fan.

Raptor SWIR Owl 640 S

The Owl 640 S is a rugged, high-sensitivity digital SWIR camera using a 640 × 512 InGaAs sensor, enabling high-sensitivity imaging from 0.9µm to 1.7µm. The camera can run at higher frame rates, up to 300Hz in full frame resolution, enabling high-speed digital video rates.

The camera has a readout noise (RMS) reading of 30 electrons, enabling a high intra-scene dynamic range to capture the bright and dark portions of a scene simultaneously.

Raptor SWIR Ninox 640 SU

Raptor Photonics continues to push the boundaries in scientific SWIR imaging with the launch of the Ninox 640 SU; a vacuum cooled to – 80°C InGaAs camera, offering ultra-low dark current for longer exposure times of up to 5 minutes. Combining a low read noise of <40e – in high gain and a dark current reading of <300e/p/s at -80°C, the Ninox Ultra is one of the most sensitive SWIR cameras available on the market and perfect for weak imaging signals using longer exposure times.
