Largo, FL-Salvo Defense, the engineering services division of the Salvo Technologies Inc., announces the development and production of polymer gradient index lenses. Designed to decrease the number of lenses in a system, Gradient Index Lenses have been available in glass materials for many years. The development will now focus on plastic lenses.
“This is the first time we have worked with polymer gradient index lenses,” Said Patrick Bass Executive VP of Salvo Technologies. “We know it will take some time and development dollars, but we think in the end this will be a great compliment to the current product lines within Salvo Technologies.”
