10/1/2014 Salvo Technologies Achieves ISO 9001 Compliance

Seminole, FL—Salvo Technologies LLC, a leading technology ­based private equity company, is pleased to announce that its Seminole, Florida facility is now ISO 9001 compliant. Salvo Technologies encompasses four divisions with best ­in ­class products in the security, defense, medical, industrial, and consumer markets. In addition to corporate headquarters, the location also houses development, manufacturing, assembly, and test operations for Salvo Coatings LLC, Salvo Defense LLC, Salvo Electro­Optics LLC (Salvo EO), and 4D Tactical LLC. The organizations achieved and will maintain compliance in cooperation with Salvo EO, which has been ISO 9001 registered since 2012. In March 2015, the Seminole location will be ISO registered, affirming that operations follow specified quality management best practices to ensure that products manufactured at this location will meet or exceed customer expectations. “Achieving ISO 9001 compliance was essential for Salvo Technologies as an organization,” said Eric Mackey, quality manager at Salvo Technologies. “We serve a range of high­ reliability markets where lives can depend on the performance of our products. Because the Salvo Technologies primary manufacturing facility maintains compliance, our customers can be confident that Salvo products made on site satisfy rigorous quality standards.” NQA will perform the final audits in early 2015. Salvo Technologies is currently pursuing AS9100 certification across all groups with ISO 9001 being the first step. It also maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance.
