9/4/2014 Salvo Technologies and Cross Industrial Join Forces

March 26, 2015

Largo, FL—Salvo Technologies LLC and Cross Industrial Florida LLC have formed a strategic alliance to create a vertically integrated technology design and manufacturing house capable of developing and delivering a broad range of innovative solutions to the global marketplace. Salvo Technologies is a leading high tech private equity firm consisting of three divisions specializing in products ranging from electrooptical systems to personal protective equipment. Cross Industrial is a value-added reseller of electronics and electrooptics to the security, defense, and aviation markets. Combined, the two give the customers of both organizations access to bestinclass products and customized solutions through an informed, energetic sales force.

“The signing of this agreement marks the culmination of years of discussions over how to build an organization that could deliver the security and defense markets the level of service, responsiveness, and innovation that has always been missing,” said Patrick Bass, operations manager at Salvo Technologies.

Under the terms of the agreement, Cross Industrial will distribute most products from the Salvo Technologies LLC group of companies. The engineering capabilities of Salvo will enable Cross to function as a valueadded reseller, while the sales teams of the various Salvo divisions will also make products from the Cross Industrial catalog available to their customer base.

The strategic alliance allows each company to benefit from the strengths of the other to create a whole much greater than the sum of the parts. “You can have the best product in the world, but if you don’t have the sales force that can put it in the hands of customers, you’ll never succeed, and vice versa,” said Don Carroll, president of Cross Industrial. “By aligning ourselves with Salvo Technologies, we can be actively engaged in the process from quote to finish. We can offer our customers the bestinclass technology and be absolutely assured that that’s what we are delivering, day in and day out.”

“Teaming with Cross Industrial is a win/win situation,” said Bass. “Salvo Technologies dramatically expands its ability to reach customers with our portfolio of products, while we enable Cross to give customers exactly what they want. Together, we raise the bar for innovation.”
